Vocito

Terms of Service

The short, honest rules for using Vocito during its invite-only beta.

Last updated: July 23, 2026

1 · The service

Vocito is a dictation service for macOS: a desktop app plus a server that turns speech into polished text. Access is currently by invitation only and free of charge during the beta.

2 · Beta status

Vocito is under active development. Features may change, break or be removed; the service may be interrupted or discontinued. It is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Don't rely on it as your only means of producing critical text.

3 · Your account

Keep your credentials to yourself and give accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for activity on your account and on devices you link. Invitations are personal and single-use.

4 · Acceptable use

Don't use Vocito to break the law, to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data. Automated abuse of the request-access or account systems is prohibited.

5 · Your content

What you dictate is yours. Vocito claims no ownership of your text and uses it only to provide the service to you, as described in the privacy policy.

6 · Termination

You can stop using Vocito at any time and request deletion of your data. The operator may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or endanger the service, and may end the beta program at any time.

7 · Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the beta. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service — during the free beta, zero.

8 · Changes

These terms may be updated as the product evolves; material changes are announced by email to account holders. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
